Headleveler’s pillows are filled with polyester fibre, commonly found in modern duvets. Each individual fibre has air chambers that are designed to capture and store air, making your pillow more resilient. Our pillows are also hypoallergenic and machine washable.

We use polyester fibre for some very important reasons. Memory foam-style pillows can get hot, aren’t washable and can cause problems for people with breathing problems or sensitive to urethane-based products.

Goose or duck down pillows are expensive to buy and to maintain. They also don’t offer much in the way of neck support, and can cause allergies in some people.

Other non-compartmentalized pillows — so, no additional stitching beyond the four sides of the pillow — can be comfortable but don’t offer consistent support throughout the night because of stuffing displacement.

When it comes to pillows, you get what you pay for.

Inexpensive pillows need to be replaced often, sometimes can’t be washed or dried and don’t usually come in a large variety of thicknesses — meaning you only really have a few options and are more likely to get something that’s really not ideal for you.

How do I take care of my Headleveler pillow? 2017-05-24T03:52:15+00:00

Keep your pillows at their most comfortable by refluffing them daily. All you need to do is vigorously knead or compress each pillow diagonally two to three times in each direction.

To wash your pillow in the washing machine, use the delicate/hand-wash cycle. Use a small amount of mild liquid detergent and wash and rinse in warm water. You can pre-treat your pillow with a non-bleach stain-remover spray if needed.

To wash your pillow by hand, soak it in lukewarm water using a mild liquid detergent. Press, or knead, the pillow until clean, and then press out the excess water. Next, rinse it in clean water to remove detergent residue and then press on it to expel all excess water.

To dry your pillow, reshape it and lay it flat on a drying rack. Don’t hang it up to dry! Doing so may displace the filling. In warmer months, you can dry it outside. It takes about two hours per side.

Do not put your pillow in the clothes dryer with any kind of heat. You can use your dryer’s air fluff setting — at a cold temperature only — but make sure to throw in a couple of heavy towels to help with the tumbling process. orthomed-46171sto help with the tumbling process.

We want you to be happy with your purchase.  However, given the personal nature of our products, we accept returns and exchanges only if the pillow package has not been opened in any way and the safety seal is intact and not broken.

Please try the pillow on YOUR bed BEFORE opening the pillow package. No exchange or return can be made if the pillow package has been opened and/or if the safety seal is broken.  Please keep the box in case of exchange. In the event you need to exchange your pillow, please contact us by email at:

Any exchange or return must be made within 30 days of the date of purchase, and only if the pillow package has not been opened in any way and the safety seal is intact and not broken.  You will need a return merchandise authorization code (RMA) in order for your exchange or return to be processed.  Please contact us via email so that we can assist you.

In the case of a return, once processed, you will receive a confirmation email via PayPal.  Your refund will be credited in the same form as your original payment.
